Interactive Kiosk & Flyer Graphic Design

Novato-based SolarCraft partnered with a home improvement store to educate customers and sell solar energy systems. I contributed the user interface and graphic design for the kiosk touch screens and the printed flyers. The flyers were designed with a co-branded line look for consistency in brand identity, while allowing for a different look on each one.

Logo and Business Card Design

San Rafael-based TJ Plus Enterprises sources unique, quality products from Asia that aren’t readily available in the United States. They wholesale a diverse product mix, from an environmentally friendly laundry product to a security device. The logo — and the text on the business card — had to translate internationally, figuratively for the former, literally for the latter.

Form Factor Design — Self-Mailer Envelope

The client needed to get photos from retail stores to a processing lab. A courier pouch (shown on the right) was the cost-effective solution, but the real story is the form factor design of the self-mailer envelope on the left. Many issues were considered: usability, postal regulations, and the 11-page patent on Netflix's self-mailer. The result is a design that any lawyer would love!

This large banner was placed in stores to raise awareness of the breadth of the National Geographic product line. The image of the Everest climber was carefully chosen to reinforce National Geographic — both by the words on the flag and by the climber himself. The banner is shown here as it appeared in stores. The photographer must have been so overwhelmed by the banner that s/he couldn't stop shaking!
